Ralf Hickethier, Managing Director
Ralf Hickethier joined Siemens AG in 1992 with a degree in electrical engineering, specialising in electrical railways, from the Dresden University of Transport. Since then, he has held management positions in the areas of overhead contact line systems for local and long-distance transport in Langenhagen and Forchheim. Since 2006, he has been Head of the Overhead Lines Division for long-distance transport in Germany and has been Managing Director of SPL Powerlines Germany since 2008.
Alexander Wiener, Managing Director
After training as an industrial clerk at Siemens, Alexander Wiener held various national and international positions within the company. From 1998 to 2002, he was commercial project manager for railway electrification projects in Norway and the USA. Mr Wiener then worked from 2002 to 2006 as commercial manager for project management for overhead contact line systems for long-distance transport. He then held various positions in the "Industry Solutions" division at Siemens from 2006 to 2012. In 2012, Mr Wiener moved to SPL Powerlines Germany and held various management positions until 2018. He has been Managing Director of SPL Powerlines Germany and SPL Powerlines Benelux since July 2018.
