Our PowerAcademy team supports the strategic planning and implementation of internal and external training and development initiatives in order to ensure the industry's high quality standards are maintained in the long term by competent employees. We support employees in developing and expanding their skills in order to prepare them not only for current challenges, but also for the challenges of the future.

Whether you’re an experienced fitter or joining us from another field of the employment market, our internal training programmes provide a clear career path, giving you the opportunity to develop from an assembly area employee into a specialist, a manager or a project manager.

We also offer project managers a wide range of opportunities for further training and personal development. In addition to the expansion of technical and methodological skills, there is training to take leadership and social skills to a new level.

The training and development of our employees is key to our success. In 2023, Powerlines opened a state-of-the-art training facility for overhead line installation at its German site in Langenhagen that is tailored to training requirements.

With around 90m of track, a catenary system mounted close to the ground, a workshop and training rooms, the training facility meets all requirements for technical and safety trainings for our employees.
